On Saturday, December 11, a total of 31 decorated vessels participated in this annual event held on Sarasota Bay. This event benefits, Suncoast Charities for Children and is produced in partnership with Marina Jack. Children, teens, and adults with special needs from The Haven were treated to a VIP experience during the parade which included a visit from Santa. New this year was a Holiday Toy Drive, organized by Suncoast Charities for Children in partnership with Junkluggers of Sarasota. Donated toys and books will be distributed to children attending The Florida Center for Early Childhood, Selby Preschool at The Haven, and Children First. Each of these agencies, in addition to Loveland Center and Venice Challenger Baseball, are supported by Suncoast Charities for Children
Greg Corvelle and Lisa Baer served as Co-Chairs for this year's event. Celebrity judges included Marlon Brown (Sarasota City Manager), Eric Arroyo (City of Sarasota Mayor), Devaney Iglesias (FPL Area Manager), Lulu (92.1 CTQ) and Ed Bertha (Real Exclusive Magazine).
