The 29th Annual Holiday Boat Parade of Lights will be held on Saturday,
December 13, beginning at 6:00 pm. This year's parade on Sarasota Bay,
features both corporate and private vessels decorated in a holiday theme.
Co-Chairs for this year's parade are Sam Chavers and Lucy Nicandri. This
annual event is free to the public, and the best areas for viewing are
Marina Jack, Centennial Park, and Bayfront Park. Entry is free for all
boats registered before Thanksgiving . All proceeds benefit Suncoast

This annual Festival attracts motorcycle enthusiasts from across the
country. Events include a sporting clay tournament, "Born To Be Wild"
Kickoff Party, and a two day downtown Festival. During the downtown
Festival there will be two bike shows, vendors, special guests, live music
(including a national act), along with a $4,000 Cruise for Cash! For

BMX, in partnership with Suncoast Charities for Children, will host a
major "End of the Year" Strider event Oct. 3-4, 2014.
This event will be open to children 18 months to 5 years of age. Children with special needs are also invited to participate by riding 16' and 20" Strider bikes. Entry will be $10 with all proceeds benefitting Suncoast Charities for Children. The BMX organization is working on adding a program for these special athletes so they, too can participate in BMX racing.
